Interactive Farm Tour & Donkey Experience
Join us for a fun and interactive tour of our biodynamic farm. Meet our animals, learn about regenerative and biodynamic farming practices, visit the gardens, greenhouses, orchard, and discover how a small farm can work in harmony with nature. The experience includes plenty of opportunities to interact with our animals, especially our friendly donkeys and our adorable baby donkey.
Make Your Own Butter & Campfire Breadstick Experience
A hands-on family favorite! Learn how to make fresh butter from scratch using traditional methods. Then prepare your own breadstick dough, cook it over the barbecue campfire, and enjoy it warm with the butter you made yourself. To finish, we'll roast campfire cookies for a sweet and memorable farm treat.

Special Offer — Flexible Booking Options
You are welcome to choose either Experience 1 or Experience 2 individually, or combine both experiences together. If you book either Experience 1 or Experience 2 and also add Workshop A or Workshop B, you will receive a 20% discount on Workshop A or Workshop B only.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and beverages, or we can prepare a customized Farm-to-Table Picnic Basket for your family upon request. Please note that outdoor kitchen rental, barbecue rental, creek tubes, specialty food items, and Farm-to-Table meals are optional add-ons and are not included unless specifically booked.
Time to Wander, Wade, and Rest
Between activities, enjoy self-guided walks, our beautiful creek, shaded picnic areas, and plenty of time to simply be on the farm.

If you bring your own river tube or float, you may enjoy the creek at your own risk — tubes may also be available for rent upon request. Guests are welcome to walk in the creek barefoot if they choose, understanding that all outdoor activities are undertaken at their own responsibility. For those who would like to prepare their own meal, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue grill may be available for rent (with wood logs included in the rent).
Farm-to-Table Picnic Basket Option
If you would like to add a customized Farm-to-Table Picnic Basket to your experience, please let us know in advance. Because all meals are prepared fresh and based on seasonal farm and local market availability, picnic baskets cannot be arranged at the last minute during your visit.

When planning your menu, please let us know if anyone in your family has any food allergies, dietary restrictions, food sensitivities, or special dietary preferences — we will do our best to accommodate your needs and create a meal your family can safely enjoy.
RESERVATION
Booking & Payment Information
To Reserve Your Date
To reserve your preferred date, a deposit is required at the time of booking. Please let us know which day you would like to visit Owl Creek Farm Resort.

If you are booking a full-day experience (two or more activities), we will reserve the entire day exclusively for your family — we host only one family or group at a time for full-day experiences to ensure a personalized and relaxed atmosphere.
​
If you are booking only one activity, please let us know your preferred date as well as whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon session.
How Payment Works
Once your booking details are confirmed, we will email you an invoice. The email will include a PDF attachment — when you open it, you will find a blue link labeled "Pay Now." Simply click the link and follow the instructions to securely submit your payment.

The remaining balance may be paid by cash or check upon arrival, or online before your visit. If paying electronically, we kindly ask that the remaining balance be paid no later than the day before your scheduled experience.

Our Payment Partner

Payments are processed securely through our trusted providers, including Wix and Universal Pay Solutions, and can be made using a credit card or debit card. If you experience any difficulties with the payment process, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Liability Waiver
Upon arrival, all adult participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, farm environments, animal interactions, creek access, and other activities offered at Owl Creek Farm Resort.
Additional Information
Please note that the prices listed for our experiences and workshops do not yet include applicable North Carolina sales taxes. To help us continue providing personalized family experiences and support the wonderful members of our farm team who make these activities possible, a 20% hospitality and service fee will also be added to the final invoice. Both the applicable sales taxes and the hospitality and service fee will be clearly itemized and included in the final invoice provided after your activity selections have been confirmed.
