We’ve noticed something this year… the price of baby chicks has gone way up
Last year many places were selling them for around $4.99 and now we’re seeing prices close to $9 each
At Owl Creek Farm raising chicks is not our main business but we decided to hatch some this season to help our local community here in Western North Carolina
If anyone needs chicks for their backyard flock, we’re happy to help:

🐔 1-month-old chicks: $7 each

Our chickens are mixed breeding, not a single pure breed.
We actually believe mixed genetics make stronger, healthier birds with better natural immunity.
Because of that you may see:
🥚 Blue egg layers
🥚 Easter Egger genetics
🥚 Other mixed farm breeds
So expect fun mixed-color chicks and egg layers.
